I was thinking about Queen Isabella of Castille this past weekend (the news described her marriage to Ferdinand as "arranged" in order to unite two kingdoms). I wrote about her in the last blog post for "Life according to the Queen." If you think about it, a better title for that post and for Isabella is "Queen of Crossroads."
Just thought I would mention it.
Happy birthday Dr. Martin Luther King (who had a wonderful Queen in Coretta Scott King).
